Shakti Durga will be ably assisted by her daughter Gayatri. Together they will pull us into the bliss of a combined 50 years of spiritual practice and world service.
The Vedanta
Our retreat is for 5 nights at the Vedanta retreat centre in Lincoln.
Nestled amongst 75 acres of woodlands, lakes and meadows is a grade II listed Elizabethan estate steeped in history.
We will have time in the beautiful grounds, where you can paddle on the lake, enjoy lawn games or energising walks in the afternoon sun. You may even meet some of the local wildlife!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included in your retreat price, and if it’s cold, there are crackling fires to warm us up.
Reset, realign and energise in nature
Situated just a stone's throw from the ancient cathedral city of Lincoln, with its myriad of cobbled trails and colourful cottages and boutiques, your stay at The Vedanta can be magnified by excursions out into the local area.
Award winning coastlines and National Trust sites, such as Tattershall castle, Woolsthorpe Manor (where Isaac Newton changed the world of science forever), Belton House and Sandilands Nature Reserve and many more places of interest await the curious and adventurous.
With an array of walking trails to conjure your love for exploration, there are countless opportunities to create memorable experiences for everyone.
Catering
In-house chefs will be preparing delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes from seasonal and local produce.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in your retreat package.

To help with your travel arrangements, check in time is 5pm with first session commencing at 6pm on 24 October. The retreat will conclude on the morning of Sat 29th October at approximately 11.30am.
No meat, alcohol, smoking, no vapes or recreational drugs are allowed during this retreat.
Please note: The meals are strictly vegetarian including no eggs. Should you bring any snacks eg cakes/biscuits which you wish to share they should not contain eggs.
Rooms are on the first level and all have an ensuite. Note there is a 'no eating in the rooms' policy.
If you have any special dietary requirements please ensure you answer the question on dietary needs and give details so we can ensure you are fully looked after. You will be directed to a second page to add these details after you confirm and pay for your room selection.

Friday the 28th of October is Mission Day. This is the day on which Shakti Durga was initiated as Shakti Durga, and officially began her mission of raising consciousness. This is the first time that Shakti Durga has been outside of Australia for this auspicious day. We are so lucky to have her in the UK! To make it possible for as many people to attend as possible, there will be an option to join us on the 28th. To make your visit as ease and grace as possible, you will be able to stay for 1 or 2 nights for this program.
