Limitless Joy - Yogiraj Amar Jyoti Babaji
However, through some kink in the cosmos, that limitless light, and the joy that comes with it is heavily disguised. As humans, we most often forget the bliss inside. We forget the limitless inspiration and love that is naturally within us. We believe ourselves to be separate and lacking in some way - but in fact, we are just waiting to rediscover the infinite wonder of who we are, and the natural joy of being.
There are beings who walk the Earth with their light undisguised. They have full conscious connection with their limitless light and with the grace, bliss and joy that it brings. The vibration of these beings is so high, it impacts and uplifts the vibration of those around them. Yogiraj Amar Jyoti Babaji (affectionately and respectfully known as Swamiji or Babaji) is one of these beings.
I have been lucky enough to spend quite a lot of time with Swamiji in the past few years. When I am with him, it is like some kind of habit of limitation falls away from my energy body. My being lights up and seems to explode in a sense of upliftedness, bliss, expansion and joy. Of course, having spent weeks and sometimes months at a time with him, there have also been times where I have needed to integrate and have processed difficult emotions too! However, the ultimate effect has always been that I come away having discovered a deep sense of strength, courage, illumination, peace, worthiness, capability, and an endless resource of bliss within me. Each time, these gains have perpetuated long after I have left Swamiji’s presence and I have felt like my capacity to live into my values, to be skillful, graceful and loving in relationships and to live my purpose has been enhanced and enriched. I feel more myself than ever and more delighted than ever to be here on this planet, in connection with the Divine.
I am very excited to be going back to Swamiji’s ashram for Holi 2023. Holi is a celebration of spring, of colour, of joy and of the love between Radhe and Krishna. It is a beautiful opportunity to focus on falling in love with the divine inside of the self - something that is much easier to do around a being like Swamiji who somehow seems to turn up the volume on our experience of that inner divinity!
Holi is one of my favourite times to be at Swamiji’s ashram, because the festival is so contagiously joyful. At the peak, the whole congregation throws flower petals at each other - seemingly millions of petals that have been being prepared for days in advance. There is an explosion of joy and love that transcends any kind of logic!
Each day (subject to Swamiji’s timetable - he sometimes surprises us) we will have our own program of meditation and self-exploration. We will also get time with Swamiji most days whilst he is in the ashram. We will get to experience the beautiful silent meditation hall (that houses an enlivened statue of Mahāvathar Babaji - the deathless saint) and Yaga Shala temple. There is a fire ceremony every morning and evening at sunrise and sunset and there will also be public programs where we will join Swamiji’s devotees from around the world in the celebration of Holi.
If you are seeking more peace, strength and connection to your limitless light and joy please join us on this epic adventure.
Twas like going to a heaven dimension and taking a love filled break from daily life. Such an opportunity to appreciate those special moments in time which are unforgettable. Relishing time spent ... feeling the love, kindness and gentleness of the group. I loved every moment of the retreat and even the momentary processing parts dissolved into feeling uplifted and filled with Divine energy, making it an exceptional experience. All my love and appreciation to those who made it possible.
